Le Chant des Sirènes is a surreal oil painting on wood depicting a black and white heron with rabbit ears, red octopus tentacles, and a fish tail. By representing both air and water, the artist blends mythological and animal elements to illustrate the mystery of the deep sea.


This is a painting that was part of the Unnatural Natural History exhibition in 2012 at the RWA Museum in Bristol, UK.


This work is part of the collection of paintings Between Sky and Sea where each imaginary animal is a traveler between two infinities separated by the horizon line.
