Les Sauveurs du Monde is a surreal painting by Corine Perier inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's Salvator Mundi.

Corine revisits Leonardo da Vinci's painting while celebrating the power of the animal world. Painted in oil on a wooden panel, this work combines the sacred posture of Christ with a blue-eyed leopard. This painting is rooted in the legacy of the Italian Renaissance and embraces a decidedly dreamlike style, characteristic of the artist.

This work is part of the Masquerades and Portraits collection, where revisiting characters and figures from folklore and mythology, Corine Perier invents fantastical animal creatures, in the tradition of classical painting.
