DISTANT HORIZONS
With Distant Horizons, discover a world of hybrid animals where chimeras and dreams coexist in depopulated landscapes, painted in oil by Corine Perier. From foxes to cat-headed birds, this surreal world offers a place to appreciate the beauty of a delicious mystery. The works in this series were the subject of a solo exhibition by the artist at the Galerie Montmartre in Paris in 2011.
Corine Perier strives to paint skies and horizons that symbolize serenity, infinite space and this deep connection with nature, while populating these desert landscapes with hybrid fauna.
