Bleu Ciel is a surreal animal painting by Corine Perier. The artist has depicted a blue bird with a bat's head, perched on a deer's antlers. By creating this hybrid creature, Corine has united the elements of earth and air in a harmony of blue.


This is a painting that was part of the Unnatural Natural History exhibition in 2012 at the RWA Museum in Bristol, UK.


This work is part of the collection of paintings Between Sky and Sea where each imaginary animal is a traveler between two infinities separated by the horizon line.
