The Mysterious Island is the most recent excursion into Corine Perier's imaginary and surreal animal world. By painting her hybrid animals in exotic settings, she builds a paradise, her own mysterious island, in which animal forms merge and where bright colors and lush vegetation are used to convey a beautiful energy. Part of this series was exhibited in Rome in 2021 during the artist's solo exhibition.
