Mysterious Island is a new excursion through Corine Perier's imaginary and surreal animal art world where she has created her own lands and creatures.
Placing her hybrid animals in exotic scenarios, her surreal animal oil paintings are ripe with images of a kind of paradise, her own strange and mysterious island, in which surreal animal forms merge and where bright colors and lush vegetation are used to convey a beautiful energy. This collection was part of a solo show of the artist in Rome in 2021.
